Common Mini-Split Problems We Repair
No cooling or heating in one or all zones; water dripping from the indoor unit; ice on the indoor coil or refrigerant lines; unusual noise from the indoor or outdoor unit; error codes on the display or remote; the system short-cycling or not responding to the remote. A symptom alone does not identify the failed part — the same symptom can come from a refrigerant leak, a failed control board, a blower problem or a condensate blockage, which is why we diagnose before quoting a repair.
How We Diagnose a Mini-Split
We read error codes and test the system zone by zone: refrigerant pressures and line temperatures, leak check where pressures are low, electrical and control-board testing, fan and blower operation, and condensate drain inspection. HVAC diagnostics are $99 + tax, credited in full toward your approved repair. You receive an estimate with labor and parts shown separately before any repair begins.

Ductless Mini-Split Repair FAQ
My mini-split is low on refrigerant. Can you just recharge it?
Refrigerant is not consumed in normal operation — a low charge means there is a leak. We locate and repair the leak first, then evacuate and recharge the system; recharging without fixing the leak only delays the same repair.
Why is water dripping from my indoor unit?
The most common causes are a blocked condensate drain, a failed condensate pump, or ice melting off a coil that froze because of low refrigerant or poor airflow. We identify the cause during diagnostics before repairing.
How much does mini-split repair cost?
Diagnostics are $99 + tax, credited in full toward your approved repair. The repair is quoted after diagnostics, with labor and parts shown separately. Labor carries a 90-day warranty; parts are covered by the manufacturer or supplier as specified on your receipt.
